About Claire

Meet Claire

I’m Claire, the person behind The See More Practice.

I believe that people are far more than the behaviours they struggle with. Sometimes the things we do to cope, protect ourselves or simply get through the day can stop being helpful over time. Rather than judging those behaviours or trying to simply get rid of them, I’m interested in understanding why they are there in the first place — and what they might be connected to.

I have a particular passion for neurodiversity and for helping people better understand themselves. I’m fascinated by the connection between our experiences, emotions, thoughts and behaviours, and I love helping people make sense of things that may have felt confusing or frustrating for a long time.

For me, therapy isn’t about telling you how you should think, feel or behave. It’s about creating a space where you can be completely yourself, without judgement, and together exploring what is really going on underneath the surface.

Sometimes that means looking at past experiences. Sometimes it means understanding patterns that have developed over time. Sometimes it means recognising that a behaviour you have spent years trying to change was actually serving a purpose — it just isn’t serving you anymore.

My aim is to help you develop that understanding, let go of what no longer works for you and create more freedom in how you respond to yourself, your emotions and your life.

Because when you understand yourself, you have more choice. And with more choice comes emotional freedom.

I bring warmth, curiosity, honesty and compassion to my work, and I genuinely enjoy seeing the moment when something finally makes sense for someone — when they stop asking “What’s wrong with me?” and start asking “What happened to me, and what do I need now?”

That’s what The See More Practice is about: looking beyond the behaviour, seeing the person, and creating the freedom to move forward.
