Who is Claire Seymour?
Claire Seymour is a counsellor and therapist and the founder of The See More Practice. She has more than 20 years of experience supporting people affected by addiction and personal difficulties and has worked as a therapist since 2017.
Claire holds postgraduate qualifications in Addiction and Mental Health and a Diploma in Trauma. She is a qualified member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
The See More Practice was previously known as Phoenix Counselling Therapy and has evolved to reflect Claire’s broader approach to counselling, therapy and personal development.
What does The See More Practice offer?
The See More Practice provides confidential, one-to-one online counselling and therapy for adults in the UK and worldwide.
Claire offers support across a range of areas, including trauma recovery, addiction counselling, somatic work, procrastination, adult counselling, ADHD support and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).
Claire’s approach is tailored to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on a client’s needs, she may draw on approaches including trauma-focused therapy, somatic approaches, CBT, motivational interviewing, person-centred therapy and EFT.
Does Claire provide trauma therapy?
Yes. Claire provides trauma-focused counselling and support for people affected by trauma and difficult past experiences.
She holds a Diploma in Trauma and incorporates trauma-informed approaches into her work. Claire may explore past experiences where appropriate and can use approaches such as somatic work, talk therapy and EFT to help clients understand and work through difficult emotions.
Trauma therapy is tailored to the individual, and Claire will discuss your circumstances and needs with you before deciding what approach may be appropriate.
Does Claire offer EFT tapping?
Yes. Claire offers Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as EFT tapping.
EFT can be incorporated into counselling sessions where appropriate and may be used to help clients explore and work with difficult emotions. Claire’s approach is individualised, so EFT is used as part of the wider therapeutic work when it is considered suitable for the client.
Who is The See More Practice for?
The See More Practice is for adults who are looking for confidential, professional support with emotional, psychological or personal difficulties.
Claire works with people experiencing challenges including trauma, PTSD symptoms, addiction and recovery issues, emotional regulation, anxiety, ADHD-related difficulties, procrastination and feeling stuck or overwhelmed.
You do not need to have everything figured out before seeking counselling. If you are unsure whether therapy could help, you can arrange an initial consultation to discuss what you are experiencing and whether Claire’s approach may be suitable for you.
Does Claire work with adults?
Yes. Claire provides individual counselling and therapy for adults aged 18 and over, including older adults.
Sessions are delivered online, allowing clients to access support regardless of where they are located. The See More Practice works with clients in the UK and internationally.
Is The See More Practice non-judgemental and inclusive?
Yes. Claire’s approach is based on respect, sensitivity, compassion and empathy.
The See More Practice provides a confidential space where clients can talk openly about their experiences, difficulties and emotions without fear of judgement. Claire recognises that every person’s circumstances and experiences are different and works collaboratively with each client to understand what they need.
